The reports that Ahmadinejad is going to Russia today (Tuesday 16 June 2009) have been CONFIRMED by the Iranian Embassy in Moscow via the Huffington Post.

Ahmadinejad has arrived in Russia for the SCO meeting.

Ahmadinejad Fleeing the Country?

There are reports that Ahmadinejad will meet with his Russian counterpart in Moscow today, despite previous statements from the Iranian embassy in Iran that the meeting was cancelled.

Is this Ahmadinejad trying to find asylum in another country? Regardless it shows how little he cares for the suffering people of his own country.
