leave a comment »

FOREIGN: From source in Iran: outside media is banned. Press passes have been revoked and foreign reporters are not allowed to leave offices or cover events.

DOMESTIC: “email access cut, no cellphone, no SMS in any part of Tehran. Internet extremely slow.” The government appeared on the Iranian state TV today and falsely labeled the massive numbers of pro-Mousavi protesters as supporters of Ahmadinejad. With free media underground at this point, the implications of this mis-leading news need to be watched.
