Iranian Violence Persists

leave a comment »

Violence continues for the second day in Iran as reports come of students and others fighting the police and Basij in at the University of Physics in Iran. The Change_For_Iran Twitter has been slent for over an hour, causing speculation that Twitter has once again been silenced. One can only wonder what new way the Iranian people will discover to circumvent this reemerging obstacle.

Meanwhile, Mousavi has officially called on Iran’s Guardian Council to annull the election results, claiming them to be fraudulent. This seems to many to be a futile act, seeing as the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has already sided with Ahmadinejad.

Updates will be forthcoming as more information emerges.
